Yesterday I came across an article on LI.
The author was
quite annoyed and he was complaining that… “XYZ framework is killing us”.
Here is a somewhat different way to look at it.
It is like saying, the cigarette is killing me.
A cigarette is a non-living thing. It does not force me to do smoking. For that matter, nobody forces me to do smoking.
It is my conscious decision to smoke which is killing me.
Along the same lines, if I say that XYZ framework is killing me, it is just
externalizing the problem.
It is not mandated by law that I follow XYZ framework or TMQ framework or ANY framework for that matter.
Using any framework is a person’s (or Team’s or Organization’s) own conscious choice. Any intellectually honest person or a Team or an Organization should take ownership of their conscious choice.
